February 11 @ 18:45 - 20:30
$35

Join the Rotary Club of Metro NYC as we welcome Harrison Evans, Postdoctoral Fellow at NYU and President of the Rotaract Club at the United Nations, for an engaging conversation at the intersection of service, science, and community.
From Service to Synapses: A Story of Rotary, Neuroscience, and the Connections Along the Way
In this special session, Harrison will share his journey through neuroscience research — exploring how memories are formed in the brain, how these processes begin to change with aging and dementia, and why early insights into memory loss matter. He will also reflect on how Rotary played a key role in shaping his path and why supporting basic research is a shared responsibility.
- Gain insight into how memory works — and what happens when it begins to fail
- Learn how early scientific discoveries may help prevent memory loss
- Discover how Rotary connections can shape careers and purpose
- Walk away inspired by the power of service, science, and shared impact
Meeting fee: $35 (includes dinner)
