We partnered with the Rotary Club of Istanbul-Findikli for a Global Grant to purchase a TMS device to treat patients at Marmara University and to help educate medical students. Around 20,000 people per month are being treated within the Dept of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Division of Pain Medicine, Clinical Neurophysiology Lab, Cancer Rehabilitation and Chronic Pain Unit, where 4,000 of that estimated will use the TMS device per month. This device has made a life-changing impact on patients and has enabled advanced research to be done at the clinic. Our club is proud to have helped make a difference to the hospital and patients in Istanbul.
