Club Meeting – Speaker: New Classrooms Innovations Partners
New Classrooms Innovation Partners is a nonprofit organization that is pioneering ways to deliver individualized content and instruction for each student, each day so that their full potential can be nurtured and strengthened (https://www.newclassrooms.org/). It was founded with the belief that today’s model for K-12 instruction – one teacher and 28 students in a classroom – does not account for each student’s individual needs, nor does it foster each students’ unique strengths and talents. New Classrooms believes there is a better way to help every student reach the promise of their individual genius, regardless of their starting point or socio-economic status. For the 2017-18 school year, New Classrooms is providing personalized math instruction to over 12,000 students in 37 schools across the country. Let’s find out together how their personalized instructional models reimagine the use of time, talent, technology, and physical space.
